DriverHub: Intuitive Fuel Price Monitoring App Design

DriverHub: Intuitive Fuel Price Monitoring App Design

DriverHub is a mobile app designed to empower users by providing real-time fuel price monitoring, comparisons across companies, and historical trend analysis.

As the Product Designer, I led the UX/UI design to create an accessible and user-friendly experience that helps drivers make informed decisions on fuel purchases.

The problem

The problem

In a market with fluctuating fuel prices, users often struggle to stay updated on the best deals without manually checking multiple sources.

Traditional methods lack real-time notifications and easy comparisons, leading to missed savings opportunities and frustration.

Key issues

Difficulty in comparing prices

Difficulty in comparing prices from various fuel companies in one place.

Lack of historical data

Lack of historical data to understand price trends over time.

No personalized alerts

Approach

The design approach focused on simplicity and functionality, prioritizing a clean interface that delivers essential information at a glance.

By incorporating intuitive navigation and visual cues like color-coded price changes, the app ensures users can quickly access features without overwhelming complexity.

Gamification or advanced elements were avoided to keep the focus on practical utility.

Solution

DriverHub offers a standalone app that centralizes fuel price information, making it easy for users to monitor, compare, and analyze data.

The app's core revolves around real-time updates and user-centric tools to enhance the overall experience.
